They are sold in a misleading way. Don't expect your average 9$ an hour employee to break corp. policy and tell you not to buy something. I'm not an expert or anything but I research before I buy, that could solve most peoples problems. If you rely on places like petsmart like I do, you need to read, read, read, and think outside the box, unless you like spending way too much money on name brand stuff you could probly build. Why buy a ready made "terrarium waterfall" when all it really is, is a filter and fake rocks. I am a huge fan of semi aquatic set ups and these plants do very well with the roots in the water and the leaves above, how u set that up is the trick. I'm fortunate enough to live less than 2 minutes drive from their warehouse--so pretty minimal shipping costs for me--lol. They still have 1 pallet of it left at the moment. I'm going to give it a try on a small tank and see how I like it. I've used Eco-Complete in the past. The staff at the location seem very knowledgeable and professional based on 2 visits there.
